This statement ring is made with stunning Indian Paint Stone set in sterling silver.
.
The stone was mined in the Death Valley area of California, where collecting is no longer possible.  These stones are considered a collector stone since they are no longer being mined.  This is a sedimentary rock. The interesting patterns and colors are created by trace amounts of iron and manganese being drawn into the rock by capillary action through minute cracks in the stone.
.
The beautiful stone has been set in silver a top two thick layers of silver, the first layer has intricate designs cut along the edges and there are two triangles cut out of the back of the ring so the stone shows through and can touch the skin.  There is a "vessel arts" and a ".925 sterling" stamp on the back for authenticity.
.
The stone measures 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm with the ring measuring 4 cm x 2 cm.
US size 7, with a band width of 1 cm
.
I personally pick each stone in my jewelry collection, and these rare Indian Paint Stones are typically chosen with clear landscapes or strong lines running through them, making them more valuable and sought after than others of the same material.  I find these to also be the most powerful energetically.
.
This powerful, earth toned stone brings us into a deeper connection with the mapping of our own lives here on this earthly plane as well as helps us to connect with our own personal Ley Lines.  A stone that deepens the connection we have to our ancestors, where they walked, how that connects to our current path and that which we leave for those after us.
